On Tuesday evening the police were called to Jonathan Rhys Meyers in Maida Vale home before the actor was found slumped on the floor with an overdose of pills.
At first he refused hospital treatment, but finally gave and took it by paramedics.
A neighbor of actor confirmed, "I saw the ambulance arrives and preoccupied with death". Jonathan is a charming boy. You can see it all the time on the street. Says Hello and very nice. "I hope that is very good".
A police spokesman confirmed the incident and Jonathan was discharged from hospital last night.
