Second death from scarlet fever.
A boy of 5 years of age died of scarlet fever on Tuesday, the second death related to plague confirmed in Hong Kong this year.
The child shows symptoms on 15 June. He was hospitalized on Sunday, but the State continued to deteriorate.
Two siblings of the child had shown recently flu symptoms, but not of scarlet fever.
There are other cases of foot that scarlet fever was reported in the kindergarten of the boy, the Salvation Army Tin Ka Ping kindergarten in Sha Tin.
Kindergarten will suspend operations for a week.
A third death of a boy of 15 years, is still under investigation.
20 million HK dollars to renovate the city
The Authority (URA) urban renewal plans to spend HK $ 20 million redevelopment of the city during the next five years, Chairman of the URA Barry Cheung said at a press conference Tuesday.
He said that the strategy will be to diversify the urban renewal with the acts of URA as a "facilitator" or "executor".
A new warning platform, the Forum of urban renewal in the district, should be established to improve urban renewal planning at district level.
Cheung says that new terms of reference of the URA is to focus on reconstruction and rehabilitation.
Total of 89,000 units in residential buildings of 2,600 benefit from rehabilitation projects. The cost will be approximately HK $ 1.3 million.
Rehabilitation projects are covered with Kowloon in 2013/14 and it spread to the entire city in 2015/16.
He wins the final appeal of Hong Kong Electric
The appeal court on Tuesday ruled in favour of Hong Kong Electric at the controversy over the assessment of his ratable values.
Previously, the Government ordered him to return 148 million Hong Kong dollars for the company, as well as some interest of HK $ 20 million.
The Government also will have to pay court fees.
Hong Kong Electric challenged the classification and evaluation of evaluation of the Department of their values ratable for the period 2004/5:0 pm 2009.
While the Court of lands that the Government used the wrong methods in calculation of ratable values, the Court annulled its decision in 2010.
But the Court of last instance annulled the decision of the appeal of his sentence.
Arrested in the death of the woman's mother
Police arrested a woman mentally disabled in connection with the death of the mother of the age of 83.
The suspect, 50, alerted the police on Monday night, saying his mother collapsed at his home in Tsui Shek House, Ping Shek Estate returned after their work.
Police arrived and found dead mother and father, 86, unconscious on the floor.
We found bruises on the face and arms of the mother. An autopsy will be to determine the causes of death.
The father is hospitalized.
