(CBS/GameSpot)-a report emerged last week that developer valve was working on a project free to play. On Thursday, this project proved to be editing for PC and Mac the popular shooter Team Fortress 2, which was initially included as part of the compilation of the Orange Box in 2007.
Since then, the PC version of the game suffered many updates, the latter of which apparently will turn into a microtransaction-funded title.
"We have played with the idea of Team Fortress [2] free-to-play upgrade conomy Mann," Developer valve software Robin Walker said to develop the British magazine.
Introduced last September, conomy system Mann that players spend real actual elements in the game, gun kits to suit the soldier, sniper, scout, Pyro and spy classes.
According to Walker, microtransactions will be the only source of funding for the Team Fortress 2:0 pm on.
